Boya Uhf Duo Lavalier Microphone Wireless BY-WM6S

 The Boya Lavalier Microphone BY-WM6S is a compact wireless microphone set for use with smartphones, DSLR cameras, camcorders and audio recorders. The Boya BY-WM6S uses the UHF frequency and works with frequencies between 556 and 576 Megahertz (Mhz). The transmitter and receiver have a metal housing and are equipped with an easy-to-read screen. A low filter is active as standard to suppress noise and contact noise. This ensures clear sound recordings time after time.
Boya's WM6S has a range of approximately 100 metres, when there are no obstacles between transmitter and receiver. Both the transmitter and receiver weigh only 149 grams and everything comes in a handy storage case.

UHF frequencies

Because UHF (ultra-high frequency) is used, the BY-WM6S can be used for both outdoor and indoor activities. UHF is less sensitive to interference than VHF (very high frequency). Electronic devices, metals and obstacles such as walls, ceilings and windows can have a negative influence on the signal. With a UHF set the chance of this happening is smaller and it is also possible to bridge a larger distance than VHF.

The Boya Lavalier Microphone BY-WM6S is a complete "Reporter kit" that is easy to use. The interviewer carries the microphone and transmitter. From the receiver a cable goes to the video camera or other recorder. It is possible to attach the receiver to, for example, your camera using the hot shoe adapter. The hot shoe adapter also has a 1/4" female thread, so you can easily mount the receiver on a tripod.
